1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between AP Builders Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“you”, “your”) for construction and related services. By engaging our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

A detailed scope of work will be outlined in the project quotation or agreement.
3. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Estimates are provided in good faith and may be subject to change based on site inspection or scope changes.

Any additional work requested outside of the agreed scope will be quoted separately and must be approved in writing.
4. Payments and Deposits

A deposit of 25% is required before work begins.

Payment terms will be agreed upon in the project contract, typically in staged payments tied to project milestones.

Late payments may incur interest charges at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
5. Project Timeline

We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the agreed timeline.

Delays due to weather, third-party suppliers, unforeseen structural issues, or force majeure events may extend the schedule.

Any changes to the schedule will be communicated promptly.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide access to the property as required

Ensure necessary permissions (e.g., planning permission) are in place unless otherwise agreed

Notify us of any known structural or hazardous issues on the site
7. Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.

Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and appliances supplied.
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference is not covered.
8. Health and Safety

We adhere to UK Health & Safety regulations and expect the client to maintain a safe environment.

Children, pets, and unauthorised persons should not enter the work area during construction.
9. Insurance and Liability

We hold public liability insurance and employer’s liability insurance.

We are not liable for delays or damages caused by third-party contractors not under our control.

Clients are responsible for insuring the property during works unless otherwise agreed.
10. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel the contract before work begins, subject to a written notice and potential loss of deposit.

If work has commenced, cancellation will require payment for work completed and materials purchased.
11. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably.

In case of unresolved issues, both parties agree to pursue mediation before legal action.

Jurisdiction is under the laws of England and Wales.
12. Privacy and Data Protection

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal information collected during the course of the contract will be used solely for service delivery and communication.

We will never share your data with third parties without consent, except where legally required.
13. Changes to Terms
